Health Programs
A Seminar for the MSC and MC
 |
A 2-day
seminar was organized by Caritas
Lebanon on the 1st and 2nd
of July 2008, at the Bethania Center
(Harissa), for its Medico-Social
Centers and Mobile Clinics, in
presence of Mr. Denis Vienot
(Secours Catholique), Dr. Naji Saiby
and Dr. Ghassan Chit Dirani,
(members of Caritas Lebanon
Council), and Dr. Rita Rhayem
(coordinator of the Medical
Department).
Participants first analyzed the
strengths and weaknesses of their
department, and then discussed about
medical interventions in emergency
situations. |
Dental Clinic in Zghorta
 |
A new dental clinic has been
recently launched in Zghorta Ehden
Sector and is located in Our Lady of
Zghorta’s hospital. Equipment is a
present from Zghorta-Zawieh’s Rotary
Club, in cooperation with the
Innerwheel Club.
The premises are put at Caritas
Lebanon’s disposal by the hospital. |
New
laboratories for all Mobile Clinics
In July, all Caritas Mobile
Clinics will be equipped with a laboratory
able to perform blood tests and cardiac
check-ups. Results will be instant.
