Conflicts and Emergency Projects
Two new rehabilitation projects set up by
the European Union in cooperation and
financed by ECHO and Caritas Austria have
been launched on the
24th of May 2008 in the presence of
representatives from the associations:

A 900m long irrigation canal has been
installed in the village of Saidi.

Two bridges, destroyed during the 2006
Israeli attack, have just been
reconstructed, linking up again the village
of Boudaï to Baalbeck.
Moreover, in association with Caritas
Switzerland and Luxembourg and in
coordination with Boudaï and Aalak
municipalities, 7 kms of irrigation canals
have been installed.
